Series Rules

The Series Rules: Youth A & B to ride appropriate bikes for the event to be raced (i.e. road or track). Youth C to ride track bikes on track or any freewheeled bike for road (e.g. mtb ok). Circuit Race events; 1 Prime halfway through each event to carry 5 bonus points for 1st placed in each category. Series Overall Points Tables based on; best 2/3rds of total number of 2011 races + any bonus points rounds. 10 Bonus Points available for starting each Bonus Event. Starting the event is a pre-requisite. Track Omnium qualifying points to be based on the final overall at each Omnium. Qualifying points allocated according to number of starters per category in events; e.g. if 30 starters then 30 to the winner down to 1 for last place in that category inclusive of d.n.f.’s(did not finish). Top 3 in each qualifying event (not bonus rounds) score extra 5, 3, & 1 points. **Double points available for the *3 Dundee Open Omnium track rounds. **Double points available for one circuit race in the North (Ellon) & one race in the South (t.b.c.) of Scotland. Points Tables for male/female in each category. Leaders Jerseys for male/female in each category. Leaders Jerseys to be returned cleaned for next round.
